Giving Voice-

EmpowerSurvivors 2017 Conference

Date: Saturday, November 11, 2017

Venue: The Grand Banquet Hall ,Stillwater  ,MN
Whew!! Well, we are off to another great year of planning. Our 2017 conference is 8 months away and some may think to themselves "well why are you talking about it now? Isn't it way too early?" .
Heck no! It takes work to put on a great conference so we start early around here. We are so excited for our 2nd annual "Giving Voice" conference and we are hoping to fill The Grand with a packed house of adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and community members that want to learn about this terrible crime and how we can work together to give voice to a epidemic that effects 1 out of 4 girls and 1 out of 6 boys by the age of 18.

In the last several weeks we have finalized our speakers, venue, and are gearing up for all the behind the scenes planning.
We are currently looking for local vendors that would like to set up a booth at this event. Part of our goal for this conference is to supply resources for survivors and community alike. Last year we had great vendors that provided resources for art therapy, group therapy, acupuncture, counseling services, massage, nutrition, along with authors who had written their personal story of child abuse. It was great to have community businesses involved!  Please consider being a vendor at this year's event, The vendor fee is $100.00 and includes 1-conference ticket, 1-table and chair, 1-boxed lunch and a chance to mingle with a great group of people.  Click on link to download vendor application and contact EmpowerSurvivors if you would like to have a spot at this years event .

This Year's Speakers!!
We have a great line up of great speakers this year and as always will finish up the day with a QandA panel discussion. So who is who at this year's event?
